Configure your quiz by enabling the necessary options.

Show quiz header information: #

Allow the title and/or description to be displayed on the starting page of the quiz.

Enable autostart (Pro): #

Automatically start the quiz after the page is fully loaded. This option is suitable for quizzes placed on a single page.

Randomize answers: #

Randomize the order of answers for each question every time the user takes the quiz.

Randomize questions: #

Randomize the order of questions every time the user takes the quiz.

Enable question bank: #

Activate the question bank feature to select a specific number of questions randomly from a pool of questions. The set of questions will change each time the user takes the quiz. There are two ways to enable the question bank:

  • Questions count: Set the number of randomly selected questions.
  • General (Pro): Choose a specific number of questions from all the questions included in the quiz.
  • By category (Pro): Assign different amounts of random questions for each category. You can rearrange the categories by dragging and dropping them.

Group questions by category: #

Group selected questions based on categories. When the “Randomize questions” option is enabled, both the questions within categories and the categories themselves will be randomized.

Enable navigation bar (Pro): #

Display a quiz navigation box that allows quiz takers to navigate between questions. When a question is answered, its box will turn black to indicate that it has been answered.

Question count per page (Pro): #

Display more than one question per page. Enter a numeric value in the provided field.

Display all questions on one page (Pro): #

Check this box if you want to show all the questions on a single page.

Show question counter: #

Display the current question number and the total number of questions on the quiz container. The question counter will appear in the top right corner of the quiz box in the format of “current question/total questions” (e.g., 3/7).

Use RTL Direction: #

Enable right-to-left text direction for languages that require it, such as Persian, Arabic, and Hebrew.

Enable copy protection (Pro): #

Disable copying functionality in the quiz, preventing users from copying the text or using the right-click menu.

Make the questions required (Pro): #

Prevent users from proceeding to the next question without selecting an answer for the current question.

Show correct answers: #

Allow users to see whether they have selected the right or wrong answer to each question. Right answers will be displayed with a green icon, while wrong answers will be indicated with a red icon.

  • Display duration of right/wrong answers (in seconds): Specify how long the right and/or wrong answers should be displayed after answering the question. This feature only applies to Radio Button and Dropdown question types. Enter a numeric value in seconds.
  • Finish the quiz after one wrong answer: Stop users from continuing the quiz as soon as they select a wrong answer.
  • Show only wrong answers (Pro): Hide the correct answer and only display the wrong answer to users.

Show messages for right/wrong answers: #

Specify when and where the messages for right/wrong answers should be displayed: during the quiz, on the results page, or both. You can customize these messages by going to Quiz Maker → Questions, selecting a question, and accessing its settings. Enter the messages for right and wrong answers in the provided fields. Don’t forget to enable the “Show correct answers” option.

Show question explanation: #

Choose where to display the explanations for each question: during the quiz, on the results page, or both. Note that the “Show correct answers” option must be enabled.

Show passed users count: #

Display the count of users who have completed the quiz. It will be shown at the bottom right corner of the quiz’s starting page.

Show average rate: #

Display the average rating of the quiz. It will appear at the bottom left corner of the quiz’s starting page.

Show creation date: #

Display the date when the quiz was created on the starting page of the quiz.

Show quiz author: #

Display the name of the quiz author on the starting page of the quiz.

Show quiz category: #

Display the category of the quiz on the starting page. To specify the quiz category, go to General Settings → Quiz category. If you cannot find a suitable category, go to Quiz Maker → Quiz Categories → Add New, provide a title, and save. Then, in the General Settings of your quiz, select the newly created category and save again.

Show question category: #

Display the category for each question in the quiz. To specify the question category, go to Quiz Maker → Questions. Select the question you want to categorize and find the Quiz category field. If you cannot find a suitable category, go to Quiz Maker → Question Categories → Add New, provide a title, and save. Then, go back to Questions, select the question, and assign the created category. Finally, save your changes.
